Service Description

The Rebozo Ceremony: my clients and one of my favorite offerings. A healing traditional ceremony to honor the rite of passage into motherhood. A ‘time-in’ for the mother to integrate this tremendous journey and accomplishment. We too are born as mothers the day our babies are born. This ceremony is practiced all over the world. I had the honor of learning this tradition from my INNATE Traditions Postpartum Practitioner teacher's Mexican grandmother. I think of it as a lovely mama-swaddle, a deeply restorative experience. Traditional hand woven cloth Rebozos are wrapped tightly around mama, as she goes deep within to rest, reflect, and restore. This innate tradition also aids the closing of the golden birthing gate, and helps the bodies organs and bones move out of the birthing position. That is why it is also know as a 'Closing of the Bones' ceremony. Healing music, sage, and aromatherapy aid in the healing art process. Book a session today for yourself or as a gift (serving the Greater Denver Area).
